A Candidate for the Glenwood Open Board Position
Kathy Caricchio is the sole applicant for the Open Board Position, and now that the application deadline has passed, we want to share with you Kathy’s statement of qualifications and desire to fill this position. We will vote at the Annual Meeting in November on her candidacy.
In the October Board Meeting, Kathy presented the following statement:
Thank you for the opportunity to speak with you today. My name is Kathy Caricchio and I am excited to express my interest in serving on the Board.
I’ve been a Property Manager for over 25 years and during that time, I’ve gained hands-on experience with everything from budgeting and maintenance coordination to resident relations and long-term planning. I’ve had the privilege of working with a wide range of properties, which has taught me not only how to handle challenges efficiently, but also how to anticipate and prevent issues whenever possible.
In addition to my professional background, I served on the Board at Binford Condominiums for 4 years. That experience gave me a deep appreciation for what it takes to make a community function smoothly – transparency, good communication, and a strong sense of shared purpose.
But beyond any title or role, what truly motivates me is my genuine care for the community. I believe in being an active part of making our shared spaces better, and I’m committed to listening, collaborating, and doing the work that helps our neighborhood thrive.
